Keith Witchka: Armond, thank you for giving me your first interview on JRL CHARTS.

Armond Rizzo: No thank you for choosing me to be your first, since there isn’t much of a first to do now a days lol.

Keith Witchka: Ooooh I love the start of this interview Armond….Now….I have to ask you…with over 40 Gay XXX feature films under your belt, I have to know how you did you get first introduced to the Gay Adult Film Industry?

Armond Rizzo: I can’t believe it’s been that many already lol. Well I got introduced to Gay Adult Film Industry by the sexy and amazing Shane Frost. We ran into each other on Jacked and well at first….I was star struck since I JO to him illegally on the Internet when I was way under 18 years old.

Keith Witchka:…Oh stop…no you didn’t…..Tell me more…

Armond Rizzo: Okay…..well…..to talk to him was just amazing and I told him I was interested in becoming a model. So long story short, we got started and I followed every piece of advice he gave me and made my debut with my first JO scene for Gay porn label Randy Blue Adrenaline. After that I was about to quit and then I meet Bruno Bond on Twitter. He told me to apply to Raging Stallion and well….I did and I got booked to do a scene with Landon Conrad in less than 4 days. It was just incredible and well that’s how it all started.

Keith Witchka: Your performances have been outstanding. Everything from the Daddy genres to the bareback genre to the interracial genre. Tell me Armond, what is your personal favorite genre?

Armond Rizzo: It is so hard to choose since most of the stuff I have done on film from one thing to another……But one thing I can tell you is that in the performances that I have done, I had never done in my personal life so I knew I had to dig deep and become the character they wanted me to be on set and I did it. I must admit there was a lot of the kink side I did not know about but I watched and I learned on the spot. So all this experiences are as much new to me so…you guys reading this have got to see me grow right in front of your eyes lol…..But I would say that doing daddy scenes is my favorite because it’s so easy to rely on there experience and knowledge they have and it just makes work that much easier. Who doesn’t like easy right.

Keith Witchka: Do you have any favorite Gay porn actors who you found outstanding to work with? And if so, who….?

Amrond Rizzo: Landon Conrad (pictured right) for sure……He was a sweetheart and he was patient with me on my first day on set. Jason Phenix was another good one because ……..hmmm……just the chemistry we had on set was unbelievable….. just ask Chi chi she can tell you all about it.  Then……third…..would have to be Rocco Steele omg…I don’t know how I manage to take that big thing but what maid it easy was that we both wanted that moment to happen and when you have two performers that want to work so badly with one another and have this heat for each other ….then the possibilities are endless. In fact the chemistry we had on set had me very relaxed and free so it happen naturally.

Keith Witchka: You have worked with the giants of the Gay Adult Film Industry. Everyone from Lucas Entertainment to SX Video to Raw Strokes Entertainment to Dark Alley Media to Raging Stallion. I could go on and on. Do you find it better being a freelance performer instead of being an exclusive?

Armond Rizzo: OMG yes and no, let me explain….First with the no……….it’s so hard to promote and get your name out there….I feel like performers that are exclusive to one Gay porn label get all the publicity and marketing simply because they are the face of that label at the time. So being freelance has led me to work just as hard if not more to get my self noticed and try to capture some of that publicity and marketing in the Gay Porn Biz.

Now to the yes, it’s amazing to be freelance simply because I am not tied down to one Gay Porn Label and I am able to shoot a lot more scenes for various labels than exclusives performers who are bound to that Label’s models. If I don’t get booked for a scene by one Gay porn label…I still have others that are interested in me and I can get to learn a lot more about different ways to direct and shoot stills.

Keith Witchka: Do you have an agent? or are you in total control of your career?

Armond Rizzo: I do have an agent his name is Shane Frost and its a little bit of both. Let me break it down…We have come to an agreement of the way we do things together so in a way I do have total control of my career. Shane always backs me up on my decisions and he always lets me be the one to have the final say. Now Shane does give me his input and I listen because I trust him..

Keith Witchka: Not only are your sexual skills superb but your acting ability seems to come natural to you. Did you ever study acting prior to joining the Gay Adult Film Industry?

Armond Rizzo: Well I was a total nerd at school and I was part of thespians club (acting club) and I would be in almost in all the musicals and plays. In fact my mother put me thru modeling school so I guess that’s where I get my modeling and acting skills from lol but I will admit those where the times of my life. I love acting and playing different characters I find it so much fun and exciting lol!!

Keith Witchka: One thing that I wanted to tap on was the on going war in the Gay and Hetero Adult Film Industry over condoms vs bareback. Considering that you do both genres, I wanted to get your opinion from a Gay porn model on this issue.

Armond Rizzo: This is a very touchy subject …. but I believe that with the change of stigma about HIV POS people and the whole PREP thing and FINALLY everyone getting educated and all this campaigns going on whit we are all equal, to we are all clean, I feel like we are moving forward and not allowing HIV to scare us as it did back in the day.  That being said, it’s the same way with condom porn or bareback porn, people are going to watch what they want to watch everyone is free to do so, I believe as a performer I don’t think so much about me sending the wrong message, I am doing me. Porn is like every other Hollywood movie out there it’s all fantasy but it does not mean I will be shooting people because I think they look like zombies. Growing up I watched porn but I will say this porn never encouraged me to fuck without protection.

I got encouraged by people I trusted, they would tell me that is better, would get remind it every time and as someone that was in the closet all the way thru high school and not experimenting whit sex my ability to be so green maid it easy for people to sway me as what ever side they wanted, it’s my fault for not being smart……..But what I am trying to say that we need to stop blaming the industry, your always going to find people out there in the real world sending the wrong message to the young kids.

Keith Witchka: Have you ever thought about directing your own films in the future?

Armond Rizzo: You know when Dominic Ford allowed us and trusted our experience and allowed us to direct our own scenes on SYTYCF. It really sparked something in me and I enjoyed brainstorming with ideas on how we can make the scene a success with the tools that we had. So knowing my abilities and my scene partners, allowed for a great scene.

Chi Chi LaRue did the same thing when I worked whit her. She allowed Jason and I to go whit what we where feeling and allowed us to direct our own scene and it has always turned out great. I mean 3 years in the Gay Adult Film Industry, I better have learned something right??? lol …..but to answer the question yeah I have thought about it many times and maybe in the future I will probably direct a couple of scenes but for now I have my focus on some other projects.

Keith Witchka: The Black and Latino Gay XXX market has slim downed in the DVD marketplace over the past few years. At one time we had several new releases a week available and now…we are lucky to get 2 every other week in new release DVDs for the Black and Latin Gay XXX genre. Why do you think this part of the Gay Adult Film Industry has slowed down?

Armond Rizzo: Keith, it’s hard to say honestly…..But let’s take my name for an example…..When I was picking my porn stage name I did research and found out that people with very very Latin names didn’t last long in the industry. It seemed like they faded away…..For example, you won’t find a Jesus Rodrigues make it big in the Gay Adult Film Industry. It seemed like people are so stereotypical about even our name, so all the Latin people that made it big who all had standard white names such as Leo Forte….Now….guess what…he is Latin and he is a well recognizable porn star. Another one that comes to mind is Boomer Banks who is also Latin and who is also well known Gay porn actor in the industry. I believe Keith that I have proven my theory with the stage names including my own lol. However my name seems like it’s a memorable name. But Jesus does not stand out apparently. It seems like we have white washed everything we do in order to be accepted everywhere. So I believe that black and Latin Gay porn is also a victim of this kind of thinking. Why watch a person who is Latin with a name Jose when Leo sounds better and Latin but not to Latin lol ….stupid I know but let’s face it…..it’s true!  Just look at all the black singers…..Beyoncé needed to look lighter and get hair that didn’t look ethnic in order to reach out to another audience, Michael Jackson did the same thing.

Keith Witchka: What genre that you have not tried yet but are eager to give it a shot?

Armond Rizzo: I don’t know…. that’s a hard one Keith…..Since I feel like I have done almost everything lol maybe try European porn …..I hear there more kinkier than the US market Gay porn marketplace.

Keith Witchka: Now I have to get a little personal Armond?….Is there someone special in your life? and if so…..how do they feel about your career ?

Armond Rizzo: Well sadly Keith, I am single and not sure if I am mingling or searching. I tell myself not to but I always end up looking for love.

Keith Witchka: Have you ever considered doing a reality gay porn video with your boyfriend to upload to the web?

Armond Rizzo: If I had a boyfriend who is as kinky and freaky as me….. I would say fuck yeah…why not. I mean people are going to want to get in your business so might as well show them and make money at the same time right????!

Armond Rizzo: Well my new online network that was given to me as a gift by My buddy Jordano Santoro, who besides being fucking sexy and a amazing performer, he actually has a degree in web design and other computer stuff so he said thank you for representing the Latin community.

He went to tell me that he feels like I deserve this so I said why not let’s do it. But yeah it’s a work in progress right now. Maybe also give them my work out tricks to diet and since I am a chef, maybe give them some hot recipes that they can use to spice things up with there partners and maybe impress them. Keith Witchka: Tell us Armond, what are you working on right now that you can leak info on?

Armond Rizzo: Keith right now I am working on myself not sexually but spiritually and physically. I am writing a book about my childhood and the the struggles I had to face and overcome. I want to open up about my life and bring people into my dark pass that I have risen from to become who I am today. All of the obstacles I had to overcome and barriers I had to shatter for other people. So that’s in the works …..So far it’s starting out as a diary but is slowly growing into a bigger scale and more detailed. It’s not easy remembering and going to those dark places but it’s also healing at the same time.

Keith Witchka: Are you available for in-store appearances or, can fans catch you on the GoGo boxes in some of today’s hottest Gay clubs?

Armond Rizzo: Most definitely for all of the above. lol from Riches night club in San Diego to Revolver in Weho and many more all over the U.S. Lol….
