SAN DIEGO, CA — (10-10-18) — Police confirm that an armed gunman robbed the popular gay adult video store, Adult Depot, during the early morning hours on Tuesday, October 9.
According to Officer Sarah Foster of the San Diego police department, the masked armed gunman entered the a 24-hour Adult Depot Store #1, located at 3478 Kurtz St. He then confronted the employee and demanded cash just before 5:30 a.m., said Officer Foster.
After the Adult Depot employee complied with the thief and handed over an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the store and fled in an unknown direction.
Officer Foster further stated that the suspect remains at large. When presed for a description of the suspect, Officer Foster said at this time there are no detailed description that is available to the press.
The Adult Depot becomes the latest adult boutique to fall victim to an alarming number of robberies this year.
