BURINGTON, NC — The Burlington police department’s robbery & homicide division confirmed to JRL that a male suspect robbed an adult video store at gunpoint early Wednesday, Dec. 20.

The suspect is described as a a white male, 6 feet tall with a thin build – Last seen wearing a dark blue zippered, hooded sweatshirt with light blue sleeves, a red baseball cap beneath the hood, a white bandana over his face, blue jeans and grey athletic shoes.

According to the police report, officers were dispatched to the LGBT popular adult video store, Outlet Video and News located at 2223 Maple Ave., at 1:48 a.m.  Wednesday, Dec. 20. According to the clerk, the suspect entered the store, displayed a semi-automatic pistol and demanded cash.

Too help track down this violent criminal, police have released two surveillance photos of the suspect.

Police said that the suspect exited the store in an unknown direction. The Outlet Video and News has always been a safe place to shop for adults and thankfully no customers or employees were injured in this ordeal.
