LAS VEGAS — (03-01-23) — Yesterday, Italy was also present at the prestigious LO NUESTRO AWARDS in Miami thanks to Osvaldo Supino. The Italian singer-songwriter, one of the most awarded and recognized abroad, conquered the media and the public on the red carpet of the iconic Latin music festival. With him on the pink carpet, stars of the caliber of Maluma, Prince Royce and all the best of the US music industry.
“It’s a great honor for me to be here tonight and a dream come true” – the singer declared to Televisa “I’m practically surrounded by all my favorite singers and bringing some of my history here, in history, is a giant emotion for me”.
On the red carpet (magenta for the occasion) the singer wore a no-gender dress made for him by Rizkianto consisting of a huge black skirt (remembering the wonderful dress with which he became the first man to wear a skirt at the Venice Film Festival of the Venice Cinema) and a magenta top embroidered and studded with precious stones “it’s the color of the year but above all the color that represents universal love, and that’s what I want to communicate with this dress”.
The singer is in the United States to promote his latest work “Atrapado” with which he is conquering all the Latin American media including Univision, Hola TV, Telemundo “America is a giant world, a place that has welcomed me for years affection, respect and giving me many opportunities. It is a great privilege for an Italian to bring his music here, and I feel so much gratitude for this”.
To date Osvaldo Supino is the most awarded and recognized independent Italian artist abroad. He holds the record as the only Italian nominated 3 times at the BT Digital Music Awards in the UK, the only Italian winner of 2 LAIFFA Awards in Los Angeles, Nickeclip Awards, Unicef Award, Premio Mei, he is among the only four Italians together with Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti and Tiziano Ferro interviewed by CNN, and is among the most influential figures in the LGBT community.
