Adam & Eve Asks “How Often Are You Masturbating?”

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — (09-16-22) — Adam & Eve, adult products retailer, has released the results of a new survey that polled adults across the U.S. about their masturbation habits.

Self-love, self-gratification, solitary sex—regardless of the name that is used, adults are doing it.

According to Adam & Eve, results of how often respondents are taking matters into their own hands are as follows:

Once or twice a week: 22 percent
Never: 17 percent
Once or twice a month: 12 percent
Daily: 9 percent
Less than every few months: 7.5 percent
Every few months: 7 percent
More than once a day: 3 percent
Prefer not to answer: 21 percent

“Masturbation is a safe, healthy, wonderful way to practice self-care. With mental and physical benefits, solitary sex can reduce stress and tension, boost immunity and improve sleep. Plus, it feels good!” said Dr. Jenni Skyler, resident sexologist at Adam & Eve.

The web-based survey was conducted by an independent third-party company and used a sample of over a thousand American adults aged 18 and up. The research was sponsored by Adam & Eve in order to study sexual preferences and practices.
