Section 8 (2022) Official Trailer staring Ryan Kwanten

LAS VEGAS — (08-26-22) — Section 8 (2022) is the upcoming action movie thriller starring Ryan Kwanten, Dolph Lundren and Scott Adkins, in a film directed by Christian Sesma and written by Chad Law and Josh Ridgway. RLJE Films dropped the ‘Section 8 Official Trailer’ on August 26, and within minutes it went viral on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook movie groups.

After avenging the murder of his family, a former soldier (Ryan Kwanten) is sprung from prison and recruited by a shadowy government agency for off-the-books assignments and the promise of regaining his freedom. The film also stars Dermot Mulroney and Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke.

“We’re excited to work with the film’s all-star cast who are icons of action cinema,” said Mark Ward, chief acquisitions officer of RLJE Films. “Each of them has legions of fans and we’re excited to be able to bring ‘Section 8’ to them this fall.” said Ward.

‘Section 8’ has been acquired by AMC+ and RLJE Films, two subsidiaries of AMC Networks. The action film will debut in theaters and on AMC+ starting September 23, 2022.
