BLACKPINK – Pink Venom M/V Premier Generates 63.7M Views

SEOUL, KR — (08-19-22) — YG Entertainment’ BLACKPINK makes impressive debut with their ‘Pink Venom Music Video’ generating over 63.7 Million views within its first 8 hours of release on August 18, 2022.

The release of ‘Pink Venom’ comes after the K-pop group’s recent track “Ready for Love,” which was created in partnership with PUBG. According to YG Entertainment’s publicity division, Pink Venom track is a hip-hop track that “shows BLACKPINK’s unique charisma.”

With strong beats blended with traditional instruments, the Pink Venom track highlights BLACKPINK’s Korean roots. “Pink Venom” is also accompanied by YG’s largest-scale music video to date, featuring historical Korean references such as the geomungo and sundial.

BLACKPINK’S upcoming album, BORN PINK (2022), has already recorded over 1.5 million units in pre-sales. Not bad for the quartet made up of Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo.
