PITTSBURG, PA — (08-15-21) — Pittsburgh Black Pride Week is almost here and the excitement is already building for the PRIDE even taking place August 27- 29, 2021.

Things kick off Friday, August 27th, from 7 PM to midnight with Opening Reception and Old School Dance Party at P Town Bar, located at 4740 Baum Blvd, (Map It)

On Saturday, August 28th, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the Community BBQ and Vendor Fair will take place in Schenley Park – Prospect Shelter, at the corner of Prospect Dr and Hobart Street with music provided by DJ Pillz Ebony.

Then on Sunday, August 29th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, there will be a Brews and Book Bags Day Party and School Supplies Drive at 5801 Video Lounge & Bar, located at 5801 Ellsworth Ave, (Map It)

“The mission of Pittsburgh Black Pride is to provide educational, social, political, and cultural resources to Black lesbian, gay, bi-attractional, and transgender men and women and their families in Southwest Pennsylvania.”
