WASHINGTON D.C. — (08-09-21) — President Biden continues his support for the LGBTQ community by nominating two more Gay men to serve in Senate-Confirmation posts of his administration.  The first is Scott Miller, Nominee for Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Swiss Confederation and to the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Miller is a well known LGBTQ rights activist and philanthropist. He serves as co-chair of the Gill Foundation’s board of directors where he directs the foundation’s national strategy to advance LGBTQ equality, including public education campaigns to ban conversion therapy and end discrimination against LGBTQ Americans.

The second is Todd Harper Nominee for Chairman of the National Credit Union Administration.

Harper is considered the guru in numbers who specializes in financial services policy during his 25 years in government service. He has led the NCUA Board as Chairman since January 2021 and also chairs the interagency Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.

Last Friday the White House released the list of the ten new nominees that included Scott Miller and Todd Harper – to serve in key roles to the U.S. Senate for consideration.
