LAS VEGAS — (06-18-21) — Mark Wahlberg, Reid Miller and Connie Britton star in the upcoming American biographical drama film ‘Joe Bell’ (2021), directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, from a screenplay by Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana.

After its impressive premier at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival, the anti-bullying drama Joe Bell (2021), is finally coming to theaters and On Demand this summer.

Based on a true story, the American biographical drama film centers on the true story of Joe Bell, a man who started to undertake a walk across the United States to raise awareness of bullying following the suicide of his gay son Jadin Bell.

The true story of Oregonian father Joe Bell (Mark Wahlberg), who pays tribute to his gay teenage son Jadin Bell (Reid Miller), shows how Joe Bell embarked on a self-reflective walk across America to speak his heart to heartland citizens about the real and terrifying costs of bullying.

Jadin Bell was one of many kids who to this day continue to face brutal homophobia at school. Unfortunately Jadin Bell killed himself when he felt that he couldn’t take the gay bullying anymore.

Roadside Attractions and Vertical Entertainment will release the Joe Bell Film in theaers on July 23, 2021.
