WASHINGTON D.C. — (04-02-21) — The suspect who rammed his car into two Capitol Police officers on Friday, killing one and injuring another, has been identified after being shot dead by Capitol police as Noah Green, 25, of Indiana.

The deceased officer has been identified as Officer William Evans, an 18 year veteran of the U.S. Capitol Police Department.

Noah Green was shot dead by capitol police after ramming his car into a barricade and then charging at officers with a large knife. Law enforcement officials told JRL CHARTS, that the suspect was from Indiana but may have had ties to Virginia.

Washington D.C. metro police who have taken over the investigation, said that when they reviewed Noah Green’s Facebook page (now deleted), they had found that he had recently lost his job and was looking for spiritual guidance. They also found that he was a follower of Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam however, at this time they do not believe the car ramming was a terrorist inspired attack.

Police reviewed Green’s Facebook page before it was deleted, where they say the found that Green had recently lost his job and was looking for spiritual guidance.

Noah Green died at the hospital from multiple gun shot wounds.
