THE MARKSMAN Official Trailer (2021) Liam Neeson takes on the Cartel

LAS VEGAS — (12-05-20) — Here is your first look at action movie star Liam Neeson in ‘The Marksman’ Official Trailer (2021). Liam Neeson takes the lead role as a rancher and former Marine, living in an Arizona border town who must help a young boy escape a Mexican drug cartel.

The action thriller film is directed by Robert Lorenz and written by Chris Charles, Danny Kravitz and Lorenz. The Marksman (2021) also stars Katheryn Winnick, Juan Pablo Raba, Teresa Ruiz and Jacob Perez.

Synopsis:
“Hardened Arizona rancher Jim Hanson simply wants to be left alone as he fends off eviction notices and tries to make a living on an isolated stretch of borderland. But everything changes when Hanson, an ex-Marine sharpshooter, witnesses 11-year-old migrant Miguel fleeing with his mother Rosa from drug cartel assassins led by the ruthless Mauricio. After being caught in a shoot-out, a dying Rosa begs Jim to take her son to safety to her family in Chicago. Defying her cop daughter Sarah (Katheryn Winnick), Jim sneaks Miguel out of the local U.S. Customs and Border Patrol station and together, they hit the road with the group of killers in pursuit.”

Open Roads Films and Briarcliff Entertainment are scheduled to release The Marksman in theaters and On Demand January 22, 2021.
