WASHINGTON D.C. — (07-29-20) — President Donald Trump has eliminated former President Obama’s ‘Fair Housing Rule’ Act and then said….Suburbanites Will No Longer Be Bothered by Low Income people and Crime”.

Immediately following his tweet and statement repeating the outrageous comments during a campaign stop in Texas today, the president drew immediate backlash from Democrats and Republicans by affirming that he’s dismantling the Obama administration rule meant to reduce housing discrimination and racial segregation.

President Trump says Suburbanites ‘No Longer Be Bothered’ by ‘Low Income’ People

Let’s not forget The Justice Department undertook its own investigation into Donald Trump and Trump Management in 1973 and sued Trump Management for discriminating against African-Amerians. Both Fred Trump, the company’s chairman, and Donald Trump, its president, were named as defendants. It was front-page news, and for Donald, his debut on the public stage.

“I am happy to inform all of the people living their Suburban Lifestyle Dream that you will no longer be bothered or financially hurt by having low income housing built in your neighborhood,” Trump tweeted. “Your housing prices will go up based on the market, and crime will go down. I have rescinded the Obama-Biden AFFH Rule. Enjoy!”

Trump specifically targeted the Obama administration instituted plan of 2015, which requires communities to proactively work towards desegregation and fair housing in order to receive federal funding for their communities.

Housing Secretary Ben Carson called the Obama-Era Fair Housing Rule policy an “unworkable” policy, “a waste of time for localities to comply with,” and “a ruse for social engineering under the guise of desegregation.” said Carson.
