SayUncle Network Raises $13,900 for LA LGBT Center

LOS ANGELES, CA — (07-16-20) — The award-winning gay porn network SayUncle, donates $13,900 to the LA LGBT Center Care Fund.

SayUncle Network’s parent company Charged Media, wanted to do its part for Pride Month—and during June, managed to raise $13,900 for the LA LGBT Center Care Fund.

The proceeds came from part of the new SayUncle Sign-Up Fees to the members-only site, and those funds were matched by the gay porn label.

The LA LGBT Center located at the McDonald/Wright Building, 1625 Schrader Blvd, is known for queer humanitarian services that have an international reach.

Donations from the SayUncle membership drive, $5 for every monthly subscription and $25 for every annual subscription purchased during the month of June, which SayUncle matched, were directed to the LA LGBT Center’s CARE (Community Action Response Effort) Fund.

CARE aims to serve as a rapid response for those in need during the COVID-19 crisis for the most vulnerable in the LGBTQ community.

According to the Center, every dollar raised for the CARE Fund goes to guaranteeing healthcare access to those who would otherwise be turned away, food for those in financial desperation, expanding tele-health and remote programs, and shelter for those with nowhere else to go.

CARE considers itself to be a beacon of hope in times of desperation, and during the worldwide pandemic, it is an essential tool to benefit people who need it the most.

“The pursuit for equal opportunities in the queer community is always ongoing, and this pandemic has taken an enormous toll,” said Mars, CEO of SayUncle. “We want to lead by example by giving back to our community, and we’re thrilled that the money we’ve raised will help so many people for such a vital cause.
