LOS ANGELES, CA — (07-16-20) — Next Door Studios announced they have shut down the Next Door Ebony domain and integrated the content into the main brand. The move comes two years after production was terminated for Next Door Ebony.

“We recognize that the Next Door Ebony brand marginalized men of color and ended production in 2018.” said a company spokesperson.

Next Door Studios released the following statement:

“In the wake of #BlackLivesMatter, we made the decision to shut down the site and donate revenues to various charities including, Black Lives Matter (BLM), the Adult Performers Advocacy Committee (APAC), the Third Wave Fund and the Brave Space Alliance.

These organizations are working to fight racism, provide representation and empower those who have been marginalized by their race and/or sexual orientation and we support their efforts.”

“Looking to the future, NDS has recognized the need for better inclusion in our casting processes, and steps have been taken to assure that our content and our talent will better reflect the world we live in.”
