FORT WORTH, TX — (05-07-20) — Velvet Box, the chain of north Texas upscale adult retail stores, has re-opened five of its Dallas-Fort Worth locations following “stay-at-home” orders during the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

The company released the following statement:

“Currently, Velvet Box is welcoming an occupancy of 25% until May 18,” explained a company representative. “Each Velvet Box boutique is providing sanitizing stations and masks for every customer upon entry. As well, they are observing social distancing and conducting heightened sanitizing practices. For customers not yet comfortable shopping in-store, Velvet Box is continuing its no-contact curbside service.”

Customers can shop in-store or curbside Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.;

Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, 12 to 9 p.m. (local time).

“I’m amazed at the response of our team and our patrons as we’ve pivoted to continue providing the level of service and products that we’re known for,” said Marcelle LeBlanc, CEO of Velvet Box. “We’re so happy to be reopening; we’ve really missed helping people in person, but we now know we can handle anything.” said LeBlanc.
