WASHINGTON, D.C — (03-25-20) — The Trump campaign is drawing huge backlash following a Trump Campaign email begging for donations during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The email asks for donation of $5 or more and even has an option for you to set up an automatic billing charge for every month. Talk about balls of steel!

While Americans are struggling to make ends meet, Billionaire President Donald Trump is instructing his campaign to take money from Americans who don’t know when or where their next pay day is going to come from.

The gap between the Trump campaign’s boosterism and the reality of a nation under siege from a deadly contagion can be jarring.

President Donald Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee have suspended in-person fundraising events and says they will continue raising money through a digital platform as the coronavirus pandemic continues to impact the 2020 election.

Trump’s campaign and the RNC have also informed their allies that in-person events will no longer take place as the coronavirus has now spread to all 50 states and Washington, D.C., according to people with direct knowledge of the matter, who declined to be named because these decisions were made in private.

“President Trump and the RNC have the strongest fundraising operation in presidential history and our unmatched data and digital operation make us uniquely equipped to sustain a digital fundraising operation. As it is, we are in an incredibly strong position,” said Tim Murtaugh, a spokesman for the Trump campaign. “While we are temporarily suspending in-person fundraising events, we will still be able to gather support from Americans who fully support President Trump, his accomplishments, and his leadership.”

Let Billionaire Trump know what you think of his campaign’s tactics of trying to raise money off of the backs of Americans during the Coronavirus pandemic.
