AdamEve.com Polls Customers on Sex Toy Expenditures

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — (03-11-20) — Adam & Eve adult retail chain and AdamEve.com, release their new poll on people’s trend in spending for a sex toy.

“You get what you pay for, at least when it comes to sex toys,” said Dr. Jenni Skyler, resident sexologist at Adam & Eve. “Sure, a $10 vibrator or couples ring can get the job done, but oftentimes these need to be replaced fairly often. Sex toys have come a long way in the past few years—many are now USB rechargeable, waterproof and crafted in high quality materials such as glass or silicone.”

While nearly 50 percent of those polled (54 percent of the males vs. 45 percent of the females) said their sex toys cost under $20, 34 percent of the respondents (31 percent of the males and 37 percent of the females) spent between $20 and $50 on theirs. Just over 13 percent of those surveyed (12 percent of the males and 14 percent of the females) paid between $50 and $100 for an adult toy, and 3 percent said they spent over $100.

The web-based AdamEve.com Poll was conducted by an independent third party survey company, of more than 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices.
