LAS VEGAS — (03-03-20) — Joe Biden sweeps key Southern states on Super Tuesday but Bernie Sanders won California which was a huge prize.

Former Vice President Joe Biden won the primaries in Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Texas and ended the night with the most delegates. Bernie Sanders won the primaries in California, Colorado, Utah and his home state of Vermont.

Biden also won Massachusetts, where Elizabeth Warren finished third in the polls despite it being her home state.

Bernie Sanders was trailing behind with only three in victories Colorado, Utah and his home state of Vermont, before he snatched up the top prize of California, which has more than 400 delegates.

More than 1,300 delegates — about a third of the total — were at play, more than on any other day in the primary season. “Joe Biden sweeps key Southern states”…a headline no one saw coming especially with Joe Biden winning Texas and its 228 delegates.

Despite Biden’s campaign spending no money, no ground game at all, the former vice president wins Texas in dominating fashion with 49% of the vote vs Bernie Sanders 20%. This was a major blow to the Sanders campaign as they had spent millions on TV ads and ground game mobilization.

You know President Trump is watching the huge turnout by democrats tonight and right now is setting up to attack the front runner Joe Biden. The same front runner that the president found himself impeached over trying to dig up dirt on Biden’s family in Ukraine.

The presidential race is heating up and JRL CHARTS will bring you all the action as it happens.
