Sam Smith – To Die For MV hits 8.7 Million views in 4 Days

LONDON, ENGLAND — (02-18-20) — Pop music star Sam Smith new “To Die For” MV debuts with 8.7 million views on YouTube in its four days of release.

Smith sampled the 2001 cult classic film Donnie Darko in his latest single, “To Die For,” which premiered on Valentine’s Day. “Releasing this song is going to be a wild one — I feel like it’s from one of the deepest parts of me,” Smith told Rolling Stone ahead of the single’s release.

The “To Die For” song is the title track from Smith’s upcoming album set to be released in May 2020 through Universal Music Operations.

Universal Music and Sam Smith tapped Grant Singer to return as director for the “To Die For” MV.
