SANTA MONICA, CA — (10-24-19) — The King has finally been released on Netflix starring Timothée Chalamet and Robert Pattinson in a David Michôd film. Written by Joel Edgerton and David Michôd, The King is a non-stop suspenseful tale of a young King Henry IV.

The King is an adaptation of several plays from Shakespeare’s Henriad, and features Joel Edgerton, Ben Mendelsohn, Sean Harris, and Thomasin McKenzie.

Filming took place throughout England, and Szilvásvárad, Hungary from June 1, 2018 to August 24, 2018.
