Grimes & i_o New ‘Violence’ Official Music Video [First Look]

VANCOUVER, BC — (09-05-19) (Gay Music News) — Grimes has dropped her new music video called “Violence,” a collaboration with music producer i_o. The 31 year-old Canadian pop artist released her latest single and music video “Violence” with electronic music producer i_o along with a stunning music video directed by Grimes herself.

“Violence” is expected to be Grimes’ forthcoming album “Miss_Anthropocene”, which is scheduled to be released this fall.

As the video opens, Grimes can be seen reading “The Art of War”, a book that foreshadows the stunning music video to come.

The “Violence” music video captures Grimes performing choreographed dance moves on a stage with a Greek-themed backdrop. “Violence” also features Grimes alongside a group of female dancers.

Grimes called her forthcoming album Miss_Anthropocene — the follow-up to 2015’s Art Angels, “a concept album about the anthropomorphic Goddess of climate change.” said Grimes.
