LAS VEGAS, NV — (08-27-19) — Log Cabin Republicans executive director Jerri Ann Henry resigns her position after the conservative LGBTQ group voted to endorse Donald Trump for reelection as president in 2020.

The conservative LGBTQ organization confirmed to JRL CHARTS on Monday that executive director Jerri Ann Henry had tendered her resignation last Friday on August 23.

Log Cabin Republicans spokesperson Charles Moran said…“The final date of her employment is undetermined at this time. The board’s executive committee will proceed with an orderly transition to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.” said Moran.

Henry’s resignation comes after a week of outrage from the LGBTQ community for the conservative organization’s public endorsement of Donald Trump, despite the overwhelming anti-LGBTQ policies inducted by the Trump administration.

Jerri Ann Henry resignation came a day after Trump’s reelection campaign organized a high-profile effort to sway women voters. Sources inside the LCR, told JRL CHARTS that Henry wanted to get ahead of the firestorm that was about to hit the Log Cabin Republicans for their endorsement of Trump.
