WASHINGTON, D.C — (08-08-19) — Donald Trump has insulted the second gay journalist, FOX News journalist Shepard Smith, following his never ending insults on Don Lemon of CNN, whom he repeatedly has called dumb.

Shepard Smith, who is known for being one of the few to criticize the president at FOX News, came under the wrath of Donald Trump today on his daily twitter rage posts.

Donald Trump claims FOX News’ Shepard Smith Ratings are in the toilet while reality shows Smith Number One in his time slot for the past 10 years.

Trump tweeted about Smith Wednesday, the day the president was visiting the locations of two Mass Shootings this past weekend in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.

OANN is One America News Network, known as a low rated far-right, pro-Trump source that promotes conspiracy theories. Including the Democratic National Committee debunked story involving the death of staffer Seth Rich, who was shot to death in 2016 in Washington, D.C., during an attempted robbery.

Unlike most of the hosts and commentators on Fox News, Shepard Smith frequently fact checks Trump. Smith has debunked the story pushed by Trump and others that as secretary of State, Hillary Clinton approved the sale of a uranium mining company to a Russian firm in exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation.

He also called out the president for asserting that reports of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election was nothing more than a hoax. And recently, Smith condemned Trump’s attacks on four Democratic congresswomen of color as well as Congressman Elijah Cummings of Maryland, another man of color.

Smith responded to the insult by the president on Wednesday saying…“Good afternoon, Mr. President. It’s nice to have you with us.”

Despite the president’s lie that The Fox Report with Shepard Smith has low ratings, the anchor averages a solid 1.6 million viewers in his 3 p.m. time slot daily.
