Vice President Mike Pence Fundraiser Being Held at Gay Club

WASHINGTON, D.C. — (07-22-19) — Vice President Mike Pence ironically is holding a campaign fundraiser at a Gay Club in Aspen, Colorado.

One of the gay owners of The Caribou Club located at 411 E Hopkins Ave, Billy Stoltz, reportedly gave the green light for the anti-LGBT advocate Mike Pence fundraiser for his 2020 campaign.

The Mike Pence and Republican National Committee event is expected to raise $875,000 for Donald Trump and the RNC’s 2020 re-election campaign.

According to Bob Jenkins, vice chair of Pitkin County Republicans, he won’t reveal the event’s location for fear of protests. “If people know, there will be protests.” said Jenkins. “It increases security demands drastically. Why do we Republicans want to create extra costs for the city of Aspen?” said Jenkins.

I have a feeling protests will be taking place considering The Caribou Club is well known in Aspen and with the amount of media coverage over this announcement, Mike Pence can look forwarded to thousands of protesters at his fundraiser.

When Jenkins was asked about anti-LGBT advocate Mike Pence holding his fundraiser at a well known Gay venue, Jenkins said…”The gay issue doesn’t affect whether we’re at the Caribou Club or we’re not at the Caribou Club. What’s that got to do with anything?” deflected Jenkins.

Mike Pence has used the Bible as a shield for his anti-LGBTQ prejudice and it is ironic that he would try to hustle money out of donors at a well known Gay nightclub.

But what else can we expect from this administration but never ending hypocrisy.
