BURBANK, CA — (07-14-19) — The official trailer for ‘Our Boys’ has been released by HBO. The 10 episode mini-series follows the abduction and killing of three Israeli teenagers Hagai Levi, Joseph Cedar, Tawfik Abu-Yael and Palestinian teenager Muhammad Abu Khdeir, prior to the 2014 Gaza war.

Filmed in Israel, the story centers around the investigation of Muhammad Abu Khdeir’s murder, and tells the story of all those involved, Jews and Arabs alike.

Our Boys is a co-production of Israeli production company Keshet International and HBO.

The Our Boys mini-series also revolves around Simon (Shlomi Elkabetz), an investigator in the Shin Bet security service. His work, the revelations it brings and the ensuing trial will place Simon in the midst of the most difficult battle of his life.

Synopsis:
“In the summer of 2014, three Jewish teenagers are kidnapped and murdered by Hamas militants. Israel is shocked, shaken and furious. Two days later, the burned body of a Palestinian teenager from eastern Jerusalem is found in a forest on the western outskirts of the city. In the ensuing days, an agent from the internal terror division of the Shin Bet investigates the murder, while the parents of the slain teenager begin their long and anguished journey toward justice and consolation.”

The show is produced by Movie Plus and was created by Hagai Levi, Joseph Cedar and Tawfik Abu-Wael.

The limited series of Our Boys will debut August 12 with two one-hour back-to-back episodes beginning at 9 p.m. in the USA.

This will be followed by single episodes every Monday on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and partners’ streaming platforms.
