WASHINGTON, D.C. — (06-06-19) — The National Security Agency (NSA), salutes PRIDE Month with a tweet yesterday portraying NSA headquarters draped in Rainbow Flag colors.

While the Trump administration has been actively attacking the LGBTQ community since taking office, the NSA wanted to promote their diversity in there agency, separate from the Trump administration’s narrative.

NSA Posts Salute for #PRIDE Month and Generates Backlash

Efforts by the National Security Agency (NSA) to pose as a workplace filled with diversity during Pride Month, they have generated a host of scorning.

The NSA posted a photo on Twitter of its secretive Maryland headquarters in rainbow colors, praising its employees as “talented individuals of all backgrounds.” June is celebrated in much of the US as LGBTQ “Pride Month.”

We have to at least give the NSA points for reaching out when they didn’t have to. That’s a big step forward for their organization that has built a reputation of black listing LGBTQ personnel as security risks.
