HOLLYWOOD, CA — (05-23-19) — CBS All Access has released its STAR TREK: PICARD teaser trailer, starring Patrick Stewart in a Alex Kurtzman production. Returning to the Star Trek franchise after 25 years, Patrick Steward takes on the role of Admiral Jean Luc Picard in the upcoming STAR TREK web-series.
Star Trek: Picard was created for CBS All Access as part of an expansion of the Star Trek franchise headed by executive producer Alex Kurtzman. Patrick Stewart executive produces the 10 episode web series
The series is set 20 years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis (2002), and is affected by the destruction of Romulus in the film Star Trek (2009).
Joining Patrick Stewart in STAR TREK: PICARD, are co-stars Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, and Isa Briones.

Synopsis:

Star Trek: Picard is expected to premiere this Fall on the CBS All Access Network.
