LAKE HAVASU CITY-KINGMAN, AZ — (05-07-19) — Lake Havasu City police announce the arrest of adult store robbery, kidnapping and assault suspect.

Kerrigon Russell, 23, was arrested shortly after he allegedly committed the crimes at the Havasu Adult Book Store located at 3590 London Bridge Road.

The suspect was pulled over at 11:05 p.m. for a traffic stop on Highway 95.  Police arrested Russell shortly thereafter.  Evidentiary items connecting Russell to the crime were reportedly found during a search of his vehicle.

Lake Havasu City Police and Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the armed robbery call from the Havasu Adult Book Store on May 2, at 10:52 p.m.

The Lake Havasu police department released the following statement:

“An unidentified male suspect entered the store, assaulted a female employee, bound her with zip ties and fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash. Several zip ties consistent with the two robberies, an off-road style face mask, a pair of brass knuckles and $674 in cash were recovered. A driver’s license belonging to the Sally Beauty Supply robbery victim was also located.”

Police further stated that the Havasu Adult Book Store employee was secured to a metal hand rail and suffered facial swelling and a bloody lip.

Lake Havasu City police said Kerrigon Russell is the prime suspect in a similar robbery of the Sally Beauty Supply store located at 5601 Highway 95 back on April 29.

Kerrigon Russell was booked into the adult detention facility in Kingman on charges of armed robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault.
