CHICAGO — (02-17-19) — FOX TV’s Empire actor Jussie Smollett’s alleged homophobic assault is falling apart as Nigerian brothers in Smollett investigation, say the actor paid $7,000 to stage attack.

According to Chicago PD sources, they have discovered new evidence in the case to suggest Jussie Smollett orchestrated the attack or, knew of the attack prior to the incident.

Two detectives of Chicago’s finest told CNN that investigators have reason to believe Jussie participated in the planning and execution of the questionable homophobic attack.

If that wasn’t enough bad news for the Empire actor, another bombshell broke tonight that the two men arrested and released by investigators, reportedly told Chicago PD that Jussie Smollett paid them to help orchestrate his alleged homophobic attack.

One wonders if this was a publicity stunt for Jussie Smollett’s song ‘Hurt People’, which recently debuted on the International Gay Music Chart (02-10-19).

Chicago PD sources also told CNN this evening that there are records that prove the two men are actually brothers and had purchased the rope used in the alleged attack at a local Ace Hardware store in Chicago.

We will bring you more info as it becomes available but for now, we must remember that until there is solid evidence that this was a publicity stunt on behalf of Jussie Smollett, he is still considered a victim of a hate crime.
