HOLLYWOOD, CA — (01-07-19) — Netflix has released Polar (2019) official trailer #1. The actio packed film is an adaptation of the action noir comics series of the same name. Polar (2019) is directed by Jonas Åkerlund and based on a spec script written by Jayson Rothwell.

The action film stars Mads Mikkelsen, Vanessa Hudgens, Katheryn Winnick and Matt Lucas.

Synopsis:
“The world’s top assassin, Duncan Vizla, aka The Black Kaiser, is settling into retirement when his former employer marks him as a liability to the firm. Against his will, he finds himself back in the game going head to head with an army of younger, faster, ruthless killers who will stop at nothing to have him silenced.”

Netflix has set for Polar to premier on January 25, 2019.
