LOS ANGELES, CA — (12-28-18) — Bang Bros. Productions has issued a “fraud alert” via their official Twitter account pertaining to a bogus model-recruitment scam. The con artists are using the gay and straight content adult brand’s trademarked name to rip off respondents.

According to Bang Bros. publicity department, the scam involves an individual or individuals using a Twitter handle that hits up adult consumers with the following message:

“Hello how are you doing. My name is Abigail, and I am Bang Bros’ recruiting agent. I’ve been recruiting for Bang Bros Inc. for three years now. This is good news to those who are willing to become Bang Bros porn stars and also want to be famous because. Bang Bros is holding a recruitment program around the globe. With just $255 you can get yourself recruited under Bang Bros porno recruitment program. Reply back if you’re interested or write us via bangbrospornorecuirtment@gmail.com.”

Bang Bros. Productions immediately responded via their official Twitter account with a screen shot of text that was tweeted to an individual involved in the adult entertainment industry. The twitter scam post led back to a Twitter account identified as “@Abigail64244318” and “Bang Bros Recruitment Program.”.

The scam artist’  Twitter account posted: “If you are interested to become a popular porn star and want to make good money out of this career, just send me a message.”

The Free Speech Coalition has also weighed in on this scam by posting via twitter, that potential adult models can always verify announcements like this scam by contacting the adult film studio directly to confirm the identity of solicitors.

“We’ve been working with performers and producers to raise awareness within the community and issuing public alerts anytime we see new scam.” said FSC. “Any performer who wants to confirm a potentially fraudulent contact can always contact FSC directly via EMAIL.
