St Joseph, MO — (11-21-18) — Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Cirilla’s  adult novelty store on the North Belt Highway on Tuesday.

A male suspect with his face covered, entered the Cirilla’s adult novelty store located at 3115 N. Belt Hwy, around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. The armed man demanded money from the employee.

According to police, the suspect displayed a handgun and pointed at the employee of the Cirilla’s adult novelty store. The suspect ran out of the store with the cash from the register.

Luckily no one was injured during the Cirilla’s armed robbery and there were no other patrons or employees in the store at the time.

“We believe he left in a vehicle,” Capt. Jeff Wilson of the St. Joseph Police Department told JRL CHARTS.

Police are asking for anyone with information about this case to call the St. Joseph Police Department at 816-238-TIPS.
