MARLTON, NJ — (10-15-18) — Police are searching for a man in South Jersey who robbed adult novelty store, Fantasy Gifts. South Jersey police are eager to capture this man who robbed the store using a tire iron as a weapon.

The armed robbery took place around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 13 at Fantasy Gifts located at 731 W Route 70.  According to police, the suspect walked around the store pretended to be shopping. When he saw his moment to move in on the employee, he pulled out a tire iron from his sleeve. He then threatened female employee of Fantasy Gifts and demanded the cash from the register.  Thankfully no one was injured during the robbery

Marlton police said that the suspect got away with $140 in cash. Luckily, police have the adult novelty store’s surveillance video. Police further state that the suspect resemblance a man who robbed a Cherry Hill Dunkin’ Donuts earlier this month. That suspect also used a tire iron.

In both cases, police say the suspect made his getaway in a small sized silver sedan with a spare tire on the front driver’s side wheel. Anyone with information on this suspect are asked to contact the Voorhees Township police at 1+856-627-5858.
