WASHINGTON, D.C — (10-02-18) —  Donald Trump’s  new administration visa policy appears to give diplomats in same-sex relationships a difficult ultimatum.  Get married, or get out.  If that wasn’t bad enough, the new anti-gay Trump law also applies to diplomats from countries where homosexuality is still criminalized.

According to the Trump administration,  its new anti-gay rule not only affects foreign diplomats but also goes for United Nations employees as well.   According to Foreign Policy, all couples that fall under the new regulation must marry by year’s end or leave the United States.

The new anti-gay law was implemented Monday Oct. 1.  The anti-gay rights Trump administration continues its war against the LGBTQ community,  the community he once swore to protect during his 2016 presidential campaign.

The Trump administration is determined to reverse what little gay rights we have managed to obtain over the past 20 years.  Will gay marriage be next?
