After an adult store, Katz Boutique in Houston, became the latest armed robbery victim, police release surveillance video of the aggravated robbery. Detectives are hoping to get help from the public in identifying the armed and dangerous suspect.
The robbery took place around 11:35 p.m, at the Katz Boutique adult store located at 14707 Eastex Fwy. The male suspect allegedly walked into the Katz Boutique pretending to browse the merchandise.
The suspect then asked the Katz Boutique employee for help with an item which led her to open the door leading to the register and safe. That’s when the armed robbery suspect made his move. He pulled out his weapon and forced his way behind the counter.
According to police, the armed gunman left on foot after having the employee empty out the safe and register of all its money.
The suspect is described as a black male between 30 and 50 years old. Standing around 6 feet tall. Weighing roughly 200 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, beard, long dreadlocks with yellow in them. He is also described as having a wide smile and a large gap in his front teeth.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for any information leading to his arrest. People can call 1+713-222-TIPS (8477) or submit an online tip at crime-stoppers.
Ironically this is the same Katz boutique where a young employee was shot and paralyzed in during another aggravated robbery that took place in 2016.
