Remnant Fellowship Church in Auburn, IN and who prides itself on being an anti-LGBT church of GOD, has been evicted from its location after posting a hateful message on their front entrance marquee during the LGBT Community’s PRIDE celebration.

“LGBTQ is a hate crime against God. Repent,” read the message on the front of the Remnant Fellowship Church in Auburn. Following media outlets getting the scoop on the outrage of the church, LGBT activists had planned to protest the church but while they were busy planning, the church’s message as well as their Facebook page, had been taken down and deleted.

Not only that but according to several news outlets, the facility that the Remnant Fellowship Church was occupying, has been allegedly evicted from the property located at 690 North St in Auburn, IN.

Local resident Tammy Kessler of Auburn told Channel 15 News..”I just wanted to come and look and check the sign out and they were gone. The sign and everything,”

A representative of the Remnant Fellowship Church confirmed to the Raw Story….“It’s [the church] been evicted. Looking for another building,”.

With huge backlash to the church’s decision to post their anti-LGBT message, church leadership doubled down on their offensive statement claiming that LGBT people should repent. In fact one church elder had the nerve to say that their Remnant Fellowship Church loves LGBT people and the reason for posting such hateful messages is a wave to save them from their sins.

“We’re trying to reach a certain group of people,” Church elder Robert Sturges told News Channel 15. “They’re being told in our culture that homosexuality, transvestites, lesbianism, and sexual immorality is ok. But the Bible clearly says that those who practice these things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. In fact, it warns them that the wrath of God will abide upon them. And in the judgment, they will be lost and they will be sent to hell forever. We believe that. That’s our faith.” said Sturges.

He went on to further double down on their outrageous ideology….”We do love them,” said Sturges. “But we want to warn them that they are headed toward a cliff and if they keep going that way, they’ll be destroyed. And that is what the sign is about.” concluded Sturges.

The Remnant Fellowship prior to their eviction from North Street, released the following statement:

“Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the Kingdom of God,” the church posted on its now-defunct Facebook page, according to The Christian Post. “And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”
