Ed Schultz, the man whom you’ve come to know as one of the top liberal cable news activists in the USA, dies at the age of 64 of natural causes.

His MSNBC nightly show was canceled in 2015 but he quickly showed up as a nightly cable news anchor back in January 2016 when he joined RT America, the English-language Russian news channel.

Ed Schultz started his broadcasting career in TV and Radio including spending time as a sports director in the early days at WDAY.  Schultz was a strong promoter for passage of same-sex marriage and LGBTQ equal rights.

Ed Schultz dead at 64 is survived by his wife Wendy Schultz.
