5 Seconds Of Summer – Want You Back Music Video Debuts With 1 Million Views

“Want You Back” [2018] is the new song recorded by Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS). Written by Calum Hood, Asia Whiteacre, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings, Steve Mac and Andrew Goldstein, Want You Back [2018] became an instant hit on YouTube scoring over 10 Million Views for the audio track alone and over 1 Million views in less than 24 hours of the official music video’s release on Tuesday March 27, 2018.

The song was released via Capitol Records back on February 22, 2018 as the lead single from the group’s upcoming third studio album.

According to the new pop music sensations, the song was released alongside the announcement of their spring 2018 tour dates. Drummer Ashton Irwin said of the song “Want You Back” [2018] in an interview with Beats 1…”‘Want You Back’ articulates the band we were, we are now, and what we’re gonna be, that’s why I like it and that’s why we picked it. We also made it with close friends like we’ve got Andrew Goldstein who we literally see every week. We party together, we confess our sorrows and happiness. We speak to this man everyday.” said Irwin.
