Major distributor donates food and money to local food bank!

Broomfield, CO – Eldorado Trading Company, the multi-award winning distributor of adult toys, party supplies and lingerie, has raised money and collected food for their annual Thanksgiving food drive for the Community Food Share, a local nonprofit which provides food to hundreds of local Colorado families in need.

This year the Eldorado team raised close to $1,800 and over 250 pounds of food for the Community Food Share equaling over 5300 meals for hungry and food insecure Coloradoans. For close to ten years, Eldorado has been collecting food and raising money for the Community Food Share. 1 in 8 people in Boulder and Broomfield Counties are food insecure, meaning they lack access to enough food for an active, healthy life for all household members.

Eldorado started fundraising efforts towards the end of October. Eldorado team members volunteered to form a Food Share Committee in order to organize and create ideas for raising money and food. Fundraising ideas included a silent auction, collection bins placed at local businesses, weekly football pools and a chili cook off.

Eldorado’s Chief Executive Officer, Wanda Garland shares, “I’m very proud of the company and Eldorado family for joining in the effort to support such a worthy non-profit. Community Food Share was a near and dear cause to my late husband and Eldorado founder, Larry Garland.” said Garland.
