HOUMA, LA — Captured on surveillance video, two men armed with a gun robbed a popular adult novelty store in Terrebonne Parish Sunday, Nov. 26. around 8:30 p.m.

Deputies arrived on scene at the Conxxxions Adult Store located at 239 N Hollywood Rd in Houma. When police arrived, the suspects had already fled the scene of the crime.

According to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Maj. Malcolm Wolfe,  two black male suspects in in their twenties, entered the store at 8:29 p.m..  One of them armed with a semi-automatic handgun pointed at the clerk behind the counter and demanded that she hand over the money from the register.

The clerk complied and gave the gunman an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. Police also confirmed that there was a customer shopping in the store at the time and that victim was robbed of $20.00.

According to police, the clerk states that the suspects left the store on foot running towards Alma St. The first suspect is described allegedly as a black male, approx. 5’10”-6’ tall with a medium build. He was wearing a gray hoodie pulled over his head with black pants and was the armed suspect in the video.  The only problem with his description is that it doesn’t fit the gentlemen in the video which appears to be a white male brandishing a weapon.  Perhaps it is the lighting in the store.

The second suspect is described as a black male who is shorter in height than his counterpart and was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie pulled over his head, black pants with a red bandana covering the lower part of his face.

Police requested paramedics on scene due to the store clerk suffering from a panic attack. She was transported to a local hospital where she was treated and released.

Police are asking for anyone with information on this armed robbery to call the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, (985) 876-2500 | Crime Stoppers (800)743-7433.

There is now a $1,000 cash reward for eligible information that leads to the arrest of the suspects.
