LOS ANGELES — In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this month, CalExotics has confirmed that they will be doubling its donations to support Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) via its partnership with the organization and their collaborative Inspire collection of sexual health and wellness products.
CalExotics and LBBC have been in partnership for more than 10 years. The partnership began with the sale of the Papillon massager, which the company donated a portion of the proceeds to the nonprofit organization. In 2016, the company expanded that partnership with the creation of the Inspire line. Since its inception, Inspire has grown to include 13 individual items including Kegel exercisers, dilator sets, massagers and more.
“October is a time for women to come together and bring awareness to this incredible cause,” said Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of CalExotics. “We are excited to offer the Inspire line in partnership with LBBC, and we hope our donations during this time help make an even bigger impact on the LBBC community.” said Colvin.
Earlier this year, CalExotics was honored by LBBC with the Paula A. Seidman Award for volunteer service. It recognizes the volunteer efforts of both individuals and organizations that have contributed time, energy and passion to LBBC.
“In a personalized letter to the company,” said Jean A. Sachs, CEO of LBBC. “We rely on our volunteers to be ambassadors in their community, we could not do this without your dedicated volunteer efforts. Because of you, we are able to reach more people across the county and provide them with support and education throughout their breast cancer journey.” said Sachs.
Colvin adds, “We couldn’t be more humbled to receive this award. LBBC does so much for individuals around the world; we are just grateful to work with them.” concluded Colvin.
