Gay Porn Star Jason Domino Makes History With Speech on PrEP at UN Health Conference

UNITED KINGDOM – In a first for representation of the gay adult film industry, Porn4PrEP activist and gay adult star Jason Domino whom you’ll remember in his performances BullDog Productions, Blake Mason Entertainment, Dark Alley Media and Eurocreme/Back Alley, gave a speech on HIV at the UN in Geneva.

He was also a prime speaker at the TrU-CArE: a verbatim play About HIV and PrEP event that took place on July 28.

Domino spoke out at the UN Human Rights conference in Geneva about the importance of sex education and the power of PrEP.

Domino gave an exclusive interview wit Gay Star News, where he said…‘I spoke about the activism coming from the adult film industry. Porn4PrEP is challenging countries approaches to sex education. They should include modern HIV knowledge and LGBTQ inclusive lessons.’

According to Domino, PrEP should be easily obtainable to anyone who wants it. ‘It is insulting a pill that was developed for HIV and found to work at prevention is being priced as a drug with equal research and development charges.’ said Domino.

Domino told Gay Star News…‘During the conference, I also represented the need to consider those with mental health conditions and learning difficulties as a key vulnerable group at risk of contracting HIV.’ said Domino.The gay adult film star also stated that fellow gay porn stars are part of his non-profit: ‘Porn studios can play an important part in modern life,’ said Domino. ‘Pressure on studios drives work to become independent, where goodwill projects and monitoring are less likely.’ Domino told Gay Star News.

The history maker said that he left the conference feeling ‘proud’ and wondering ‘if I am one of the world’s first porn stars to speak at the UN?’ said Domino.

Gay Star News said that they met Jason Domino during World Aids Day in 2016. He told news network how he got started advocating for PrEP when it hit him a personal level when the first man he did a gay porn scene with was HIV positive.

‘After that, I went on PrEP and I sort of kept that to myself,’ Domino told Gay Star News. ‘While I was dealing with that, a number of my friends became HIV positive, and I realized just how important it was to tell people about this.’ said Domino.
