LAS VEGAS — Hundreds shots within 5 minutes from high powered automatic weapons resulted in emergency rooms being filled to capacity, a police officer shot in the neck, and the entire South side of the Las Vegas Strip is on lock down.

The Las Vegas Fire Department is reporting massive casualties on scene in what clearly is a domestic terrorist attack committed by a local resident of Las Vegas.  Witnesses on scene said that the shooters were shooting directly down into the crowd. They could see them switching out clips from their high powered weapons.  The suspect has been found dead in a room on the 32nd floor in the Mandaley Bay by the Swat Team, according to an LVPD spokesperson.

The University Medial Center’s emergency room was so packed that victims were being transferred to Sunrise Medical Center’s emergency room for treatment.

There were so many victims that police officers transported victims in their patrol cars to the emergency room. That is how serious the situation is! Buses quickly arrived on scene to transport victims.

Over 22,000 people were in attendance  at the Harvest Route 91 Concert right across the street from the Mandaley Bay when one lone gunman, a local from Las Vegas, opened fire during the finale of the concert from what some witnesses are saying, from a 4th or 5th floor room in the Mandaley Bay Resort.

Update: 7:41 a.m. PST: Suspect identified as 64 year-old Las Vegas local Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada.  Paddock died of a self inflicted gunshot wound when police moved in on his location.

Update: 7:25 am. PST: At least 50 Dead, 1 off-duty police officers critical condition and several local LVPD officers are belived to have been killed while working the event. suspect dead,  over 400 Wounded.

Update: 12:35 a.m. PST – Police report that only one shooter is to believed to have caused this attack.  Tactical units are now standing down and attention is being directed to victims on scene.

Ambulances are being seen working on victims inside the cabin as they drive by on lookers.
