CHICAGO, IL — Flava Works Inc has filed a $1.2 million lawsuit against well-known mainstream TV executive Marc Juris of WE Tv, for allegedly distributing its gay black and Latino online porn content to file-sharing Torrent sites.

Marc Juris who is listed as the network president and general manager of WE tv, the AMC Network-owned digital cable and satellite TV channel, is accused of joining its membership site, downloaded content and later allegedly uploaded said stolen content on to sites with peer-to-peer file-sharing technology commonly known as torrent sites.

Flava Works, filed the lawsuit at Chicago Federal court. Phil Bleicher, Flava Works founder and CEO, told JRL CHARTS…”Marc Juris was issued a cease-and-desist over alleged sharing and was urged to settle out of court. However the WE tv executive refused” said Bleicher.

“We have ample evidence to prove that its him — from matching emails, IP, logs and usernames — and he continued to share our copyrighted works,” said Bleicher. “Now we are suing him for $1.2 million.” said Bleicher.

Bleicher further stated that Marc Juris recently sought out a judicial declaration from a federal judge stating that he did not infringe on Flava Works Black and Latino gay porn content on their membership network. However that court action did not include Marc Juris name but only listed plaintiff as John [Doe].

In that lawsuit filed by John [Doe}, he argues that Flava Works allegedly extorts subscribers by filing boilerplate lawsuits without identifying said defendants by name.

“Defendant Flava Works operates pornographic websites for gay men. Capitalizing on the social stigma of its own product, Flava Works has apparently discovered a lucrative side business: extorting money from former subscribers by threatening to expose them as consumers of gay porn,” said John [Doe] in the complaint filed on Tuesday August 15.

“Even if the accusation is false, most users reluctantly pay rather than be outed in court documents as a gay porn user — especially if the victim has chosen to keep his sexual orientation private,” said John [Doe].

Armed with loads of evidence, Flava Works Inc’s Founder and CEO Phillip Bleicher said that he’s indentified the right individual and further stated that his company is planning to file a series of lawsuits against “other alleged copyright infringes who are members of Gay-Torrents.org, GayTorrent.ru and several other illegal file-sharing websites soon. Hopefully this will start to put an end to the rampant stealing of intellectual property.” said Bleicher.

Flava Works Inc., currently operates FlavaMen, MixItUpBoy, ThugBoy, RawRods, PapiCock and CocoDorm.  They are also affiliated with several other gay ethnic porn sites.

“Flava Works models and staff spend countless hours producing our high quality videos and images only to have a few people steal them and distribute to these illegal file sharing websites. This will stop, one lawsuit at a time.” said Flava Works’ CEO Phillip Bleicher.

Since the filings on Tuesday August 15, no further action has been taken by either party however, John Doe’s complaint was spotlighted in an article on the Courthouse News site.

I reached out to Marc Juris attorney Ben Meiselas of Geragos & Geragos for comment prior to publication but have not yet received a response. Should we get comment from Mr. Meiselas, we will update this article accordingly.
