WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A well-known Democratic party donor is in the middle of a horrific ordeal right now as word has begun to get around political circles that a 26-year-old male escort was found dead at his home late last month of a meth overdose.

The incident took place on July 27 at 7:30 pm at the West Hollywood home of high-profile wealthy contributor to the democratic party, Ed Buck. He is well-known for his progressive political activist and wealthy contributor to the California and Los Angeles County Democratic Party.

According to the The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office, the male escort was identified as Gemmel Moore when ruling that his death was considered an ‘accident’ due to a ‘methamphetamine’ overdose.

However the plot thickens as Moore’s family is saying that foul play was involved in the hours between Gemmel’s arrival at Buck’s home to the time of his fatal drug overdose.

The WeHo Times was able to conduct a telephone interview with Gemmel Moore’s mother LaTisha Nixon at her home in Spring, Texas where she believes that her son was involved with male sex-work for the past few years.

‘I called one of my son’s friends and was like, “who the hell is Edward Buck?'” said Nixon.’And my son’s friend was like, “oh my God, that’s that white guy, that wealthy white politician guy… he was like “oh my God…’”

According to Nixon, when she had a conversation with Gemmel’s friend, a darker picture of Moore’s life began to emerge, with Buck allegedly playing a role.

‘When he calmed down, he told me that Ed Buck was one of my son’s clients and that Ed Buck was one of his clients as well,’ said Nixon. ‘[Buck] would have my son to go out to… Santa Monica Boulevard looking for young gay black guys so he could inject them with drugs, see their reaction and how [they] would react and take pictures of them.’ said Nixon.

Nixon did state that when investigators contacted her from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station about her son, they informed her that no drugs or paraphernalia was found at Buck’s home following her son’s death.

I attempted to call Ed Buck’s representatives for comment on this story however, by press time, there has been no response. Investigators said that Buck is not a suspect in the death of Gemmel Moore’s death at this time.
