WASHINGTON, D.C — After campaigning that he will protect the LGBTQ community during his campaign last year, President Donald J. Trump took a direct attack on the LGBTQ community with his Twitter announcement that he is arbitrarily banning all Transgender personnel from serving in any capacity of the U.S. military due to the non-existent disruption of military cohesion and alleged medical costs involved for Transgender medical services.

The announcement which caught off guard the Pentagon’s press office, reverses policy put in place by former President Obama who became the first president in American history had set July 1, 2017 as the deadline to begin enlisting transgender troops.

Former Defense Secretary Ash Carter (pictured right), said..”There are already transgender individuals actively serving in our armed forces honorably.  This sends a bad signal in the recruitment of future servicemen.” said Carter who was the person who put in place the policy to allow Transgenders to serve.

This is yet another example of a pathological lying man who does not honor his commitment to this voters. This is sure to wind up in court and there we will see how this will turn out. Does this mean the active Transgender soldiers are going to be round up and discharged? Are we going back to the days of hunting down LGBTQ men and women serving in the U.S. Military?

Trump: Tweeted the Following:

“After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow……….Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military.   Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming………victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you”
