NEW YORK, NY – When Katy Perry performed her new single “Swish Swish” [2017] on the Season Finale of Saturday Night Live (SNL) last Saturday Night, LGBT fans went wild on Twitter and Facebook.

In fact the video performance which featured an all star cast of LGBTQ performers, has already garnered more than 1 Million YouTube views over the past 72 hours of its upload to YouTube.

Katy Perry brought household drag queen star names such as Yuhua Hamasaki, Brenda Dharling, Svetlana Stoli, Brita Filter, Lil Miss Hot Mess, Alotta McGriddles, The Countess Mascara and of course the sensational flamboyant Vivacious, Scarlet Envy and Harmonica Sunbeam and more.

“Swish Swish” is the first single on American singer Katy Perry’s new album “Witness” [2017] and features American rapper Nicki Minaj. The single was released on May 19, 2017 “Swish Swish” was written by Perry, Duke Dumont, Sarah Hudson, and Starrah and was produced by Dumont, Noah Passovoy and PJ Sledge.

While reviews of the performance were mixed, it was still a fantastic way for our community to capture a worldwide audience and yes, the mysterious young teenage boy has been identified as Russell Horning, a 15-year-old Lawrenceville, Georgia boy who goes by the Instagram name “Russell Got Barzz.”
