Based the true story of the 2005 case where 5 Members of the Romanian Clergy were convicted for murdering a Nun!

The Crucifixion is the 2017 British/Romanian horror film directed by Xavier Gens whom you will remember from his directorial skins in Cold Skin as well as The ABCs of Death. The screenplay was handled by Chad and Carey Hayes whom you’ll know from their writing skills from “The Conjuring and Sequel”, “The Reaping”, and “House of Wax”.

Sophie Cookson was tapped for the lead in 2015 and then later cast members Corneliu Ulici and Brittany Ashworth join the supporting cast.

“Journalist Nicole Rawlins (Sophie Cookson) is investigating the murder of a nun. A priest has been convicted but he claims that she died while he was performing an exorcism ritual. When Nicole comes in contact with Father Anton (Corneliu Ulici) more and more inexplicable events occur. The pair begin to believe that the priest lost the battle with a demon.”
