CORTLAND, N.Y. — The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office Homicide & Robbery Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person who burglarized a popular adult store in Cortlandville.

The burglary took place at the Tikki’s Adult Boutique located in the Groton Avenue Shopping Plaza at 1136 NY-222 on Route 22, took place between the hours of 12 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, according to Todd Caufield of the sheriff’s office.

According to the the sheriff’s office, “The suspect entered the store by shattering the front window display glass with an unknown object.  Once inside, the suspect stole several adult pleasure products from the boutique along with an undisclosed amount of cash.” said the sheriff’s office.

Police describe the suspect as Caucasian with a slender build with glasses, wearing a knit style hat and carrying a backpack.
